Not too long ago, the downtown district was the center of a community. Before malls and online shopping, residents purchased everything they needed by taking a trip "into town". DE has the vision to bring vibrancy back to Historic Downtown Eaton, by hosting events and revitalizing the downtown area. Will you help this dream become a reality?
Downtown Eaton is a non-profit, 501c4 organization dedicated to serving Eaton, Ohio by supporting and promoting downtown businesses and engaging the community. Strong downtowns are a vital part of community growth by being a community center filled with services, entertainment, food, meeting space, culture, arts and music.

White Christmas Celebration returns Nov. 28
Downtown Eaton’s beloved White Christmas Celebration will return on Friday, Nov. 28, bringing holiday joy, festive lights, and community spirit to the Courthouse Plaza on Main Street.
White Christmas 2025 Coloring Contest sheets available
As part of Downtown Eaton Inc.’s White Christmas celebration, area children in grades Pre-K through 5 are invited to enter this year's Santa coloring contest, sponsored by 25th Century Toys & Collectibl for a chance to win a gift card in one of three age categories: Pre-K-1st grade; 2nd-3rd grade and 4th-5th grade.

The magic of the holiday season is returning to Eaton as Downtown Eaton Inc. invites all residents and businesses within city limits to take part in the annual White Christmas Lighting Contest! This beloved community tradition brings sparkle, creativity, and plenty of cheer to neighborhoods all across the city.
